Rima Ray's Biography

Rima Ray is an Amazon #1 Best-Selling author. Her debut novel "Ruby Roy and the Murder in the Falls" was listed by Readers' Digest as the Top 10 Cozy Mysteries of 2022. It also won the Readers' Favorite Silver Medal for humor/comedy.

 

 Rima spent her childhood growing up in Kuwait, Qatar, India, the Philippines, Japan, Canada, and the US.

 

She survived the first Gulf War in Kuwait and the triple disaster in Japan. In between globe-trotting with her parents, she completed her Bachelors's and Masters's degrees from Cornell and Ph.D. from McGill University.

 

These days Rima leads a more peaceful life as a professor in upstate New York. Apart from reading mysteries (Agatha Christie being her favorite author) and working on her next Ruby Roy novel, she enjoys eating Asian food and spending time with her pets.

Ruby Roy and the Murder in the Falls is the first book in the Ruby Roy mystery series. Her next two books in the series Ruby Roy and the Hawaiian Mystery and Ruby Roy and the Fishy Affair in Kolkata are currently in the works.
